Your Dutch texts translated

DAVIES Translations Etcetera translates texts written in Dutch into English. A wide range of subjects are offered, including:

  • Life sciences, environmental studies, agriculture, food science – journal articles, reports and manuals.
  • Landscape architecture and architecture –  journal articles, for example.
  • Art, culture and, especially, music –  exhibition catalogues, CD texts and other documents concerned with classical music.
  • Education – syllabuses, instructions for students, policy documents, etc.

An important detail: the translations are done by a native speaker.

How does this work?

You explain (on the phone or via e-mail) what you would like done and the proposal containing the tariff and the conditions for supplying the translation are sent to you by e-mail.

During the period in which the text is being translated, you may be consulted about terminology and other issues because it is important to get it right! But rest assured, your translation will be delivered on time.  Quality is regarded as important, so a revisor checks all translations.

The costs

Translation work is charged per translated word, but it is essential to know the number of words in the original document in order to write a proposal. The actual tariff per word depends on the type of text and how close the deadline is!

Terms and conditions

Davies Translations Etcetera is a member of the professional association of translators and interpreters NGTV. The terms and conditions drawn up by NGTV therefore apply to all translation work.
