A few biographical details
Translations Etcetera is run by Chris Davies. Born in the UK, she has lived in the Netherlands since 1990. Her varied career includes teaching biology at secondary school level and training scientists to search online databases and write reports. Since 1998 she has worked as a freelancer. Chris Davies is a qualified translator, having obtained a Bachelor of Communication at the ITV Institute of Higher Education in Utrecht. She belongs to the association for professional translators NGTV and to SENSE (Society of English-Native-Speaking Editors).
